On Saturday, March 19th, we celebrated the ordination of our assistant curate, the Rev. Vernon Duporte, as a priest in God's holy church.
Our Area Bishop Patrick Yu presided, the Rev. Canon Tony Harwood-Jones preached, a group from St. Margaret-in-the-Pines danced, and almost 250 of us gathered to pray for Vernon and for the church on this very special day. We then gathered in the parish hall for a wonderful reception put on by our parish volunteers.
