Jake comes to St Andrew’s having served at St. Mary Magdalene’s as Assistant Curate then Associate Priest since 2022. In the same year, he was ordained and completed his Master of Divinity degree at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale and the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. Originally from London, UK, Jake received a master's degree in World Christianity at the University of Edinburgh before moving to the USA with his spouse, Jenna. They lived in Ohio and Connecticut before Jenna moved to Toronto in 2020 to begin work as an astronomer at the U of T, and have lived together in Toronto since 2022. In his spare time, Jake loves to play and follow sport (especially cricket!), hike, and sing. Jenna currently sings in the choir at St Mary Magdalene’s.
