Our mission statement reminds us that we are here "to extend God's love into Christian action in the community." As followers of Jesus, we are called to care for the poor and to advocate for changes in unjust systems, here and around the world.
Food Bank and Comunity Garden
We partner with our neighbouring church, St. Jude's, Wexford at Victoria Park and Lawrence Avenue; they host the food bank (and we collect food for them), and we host the community garden, growing fresh food for those who need it. We also keep bags of staple groceries on hand for emergency needs in our community.
FaithWorks
Through the Diocese of Toronto, we partner with social justice ministries across Toronto, throughout Canada and around the globe to fight hunger, poverty and injustice. More information is here.
Support for local agencies
Through the generosity of our members, we offer regular financial support to local organizations that reach out to those in need, including Habitat for Humanity, the Agincourt Community Services Association, Flemingdon Park Ministries, Eva's Place and All Saints' Church and Community Centre.
