Outreach Team joins the "Basketeers!"

Through the month of November, members of St. Andrew's were invited to donate items that would help a woman leaving a situation of domestic violence to start her own home.

In partnership with the "Basketeers" and women's shelters throughout the Greater Toronto Area, we know that women fleeing abuse sometimes have little more than the clothing on their backs when they leave, and starting a new home when they leave the shelter can be incredibly daunting.

We filled nine gift baskets with items to help, from practical things like cleaning supplies and kettles to things to help women feel good about themselves, from facial masks to perfumes.
