On May 24th, we marked the Feast of Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit on Jesus's first followers fifty days after the first Easter.
One of the ways the Spirit was manifested on that long-ago day was in the ability of people from all over the then-known world to hear the story of Jesus in their own languages.
We heard the story read in 20 different languages by our members (including Hindi, Cantonese, Swahili, Fanti, Afrikaans, German, Urdu and Welsh).
We also celebrated the way the Spirit has brought us together in one place with a procession and display of flags representing the places form which we came!
