Honouring our Seniors Celebration

On Sunday, August 9th, St. Andrew's held a special luncheon to honour our "Senior seniors," those 80 years of age and older, and honoured them with special prayers in church during our main worship service.

Some of our seniors have been members here since the church was first established nearly 60 years ago, and some of our seniors have joined our church in the past year. Having the among us, with their wisdom, faith and grace, is a true gift.

We are thankful for the members of the planning team and all the volunteers who helped set up the tables and chairs for the luncheon, provided flower arrangements, provided and served food, assisted with transportation for our seniors who have trouble getting to church, and just generally made the day such a wonderful celebration.
