For 31 years, St. Andrew's has celebrated its multicultural character with an annual evening of music, food and dance. For many years, it was a celebration of the Caribbean cultural background of many of our members, and then was expanded to include the cultures of other places as people from around the globe have made St. Andrew's their church home.
This year's even took place on September 24 with semi-classical Tamil dance, music from members of our choir and worship band, and on the steel pan. There was food from the Caribbean, south Asia, Europe and east Asia, games and dancing to end the evening.
We are so grateful to Noreen and her committee for all their hard work, and we're already looking forward to next year's event!
