There are several groups that gather regularly at St. Andrew's with the main purpose of simply enjoying our time together and getting to know one another.
Ladies' Lunch and Learn
Generally meeting on the third Thursday of each month, all women from the church, and friends, are invited to bring a lunch for 11:30 am and enjoy time together. The gatherings include speakers and demonstrations on such topics as cake decorating, various ministries in the wider church, scrapbooking and aging.
Men's First Friday Coffee Club
As the name implies, all men from the church, and their friends, are invited for coffee and conversation on the first Friday morning of each month at 9:30 am. Conversation is wide-ranging and designed to be inclusive of all points of view.
Anglican Church Women
This group of senior women meets weekly following the Wednesday morning worship service. They bring their lunch and spend time in conversation as well as completing knitting projects and needlework to support ministries with new parents in need.
Youth Group
The youth group meets on Friday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00, and involves both members of our church and young people from the community. Some of their gatherings focus on faith development, and others focus on simply having fun together. Members range in age from 10 through 19.
St. Andrew's Anglers Softball Team
Part of a Scarborough church league, our Anglers play every Tuesday night from mid-May thorugh mid-August. Anyone aged 13 and up is welcome, and many of our members spend enjoyable evenings cheering the Anglers on!
